Baraka Car Rentals hires out fuel efficient Toyota hybrids to rideshare and delivery drivers right across Melbourne. If you drive for Uber, DiDi or Uber Eats, or you are thinking about getting started, we can put you in an approved vehicle without a long wait.

We began in 2019 with a single car and now run a fleet of more than 90 Toyota hybrids. Every vehicle is late model, serviced on schedule and ready to go the day you collect it.

Why drivers pick a hybrid

Fuel is the biggest running cost most rideshare drivers face. Hybrids come into their own in stop start city traffic, where the electric motor does much of the low speed work and the engine spends less time running. Over a full week of driving that difference shows up clearly in what you spend at the bowser, which is why our whole fleet is hybrid.
